This is how Tatiara based artist Jaime Prosser encapsulates the inspiration for her art, including her exhibition set to open on January 13 at the Karatta Wine Room and Gallery in Robe.<\/p>\n
This exhibition follows her triumph at the 2023 Southern Ocean Art Prize, when Jaime was declared overall winner.<\/p>\n
Her windswept tree, which took out the top award, will be a theme she develops in the Karatta exhibition – line and shadow, space and form constitute the essence of these magnificent images.<\/p>\n
Jaime has also painted a series of gum tree flowers, their beautiful shapes and colours painted in great detail and sensitively coloured. These, combined with beach scenes, make up the bulk of this remarkable artist\u2019s exhibition.<\/p>\n
