Most recently, Peevy has been playing for KK Alkar in Croatia, where he has averaged 12 points per game, shooting 54.1% from the floor.<\/p>\n<p>The Castec Rural Pioneers head coach Richard Hill was delighted with the signing of Peevy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChristian is a versatile and gifted athlete whose size and skillset enables him to play on the wing or as a stretch four,\u201d he said. \u201cWe were very close to signing Christian last season, but he opted to play in Croatia where he had a very good season averaging 12 points and 5 rebounds showing his versatility at both ends of the floor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe he will be a perfect fit in our system and look forward to getting to work with him when he arrives this month.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Castec Rural Pioneers are excited to announce the signing of 201 cm US import Christian Peevy for the 2024 season.
