She has made her name as the brains behind organising recent Sheepvention events in Hamilton and now Emmelie Nijskens is taking her event coordinating skills to the international stage as the International Dairy Week events coordinator.<\/p>\n
International Dairy Week director Declan Patten welcomed Emmelie and her expertise to the industry event.<\/p>\n

Emmelie was excited about the opportunity to be part of the International Dairy Week team.<\/p>\n

Emmelie was born and raised on a dairy farm in The Netherlands, before immigrating to South West Victoria where her parents still operate a dairy farm today.<\/p>\n
With a proven track record in events management, and a passion for the dairy industry, Emmelie has recently launched her own events business \u2018Rural Reach Events\u2019, showcasing her organisational skills for large-scale events.<\/p>\n
Held annually in January at Tatura Park, Tatura – International Dairy Week (IDW) is the largest annual dairy conference and sale in the Southern Hemisphere and is nationally and internationally recognised as being amongst the top five cattle shows in the world.<\/p>\n
It is indisputably the most prestigious event in the Australian dairy industry, showcasing the best quality dairy cattle to more than 4500 visitors from every state in Australia and more than 20 countries internationally – whilst also providing opportunities to showcase the latest developments in dairy farming practice, breeding, genetics, machinery, equipment, technology and services, environmental issues, seminars, livestock marketing, property tours and promotion of dairy food products.<\/p>\n
