Surf Coast University of the Third Age\u2019s (U3A) first Occasional Lecture was held on Friday March 11 at Spring Creek Community House. The lecture was delivered by church historian and Cambridge academic Lynne Broughton and included an explanation of how Medieval European churches taught their faithful about vices to be avoided and virtues to be followed through art. The talk illustrated with images taken from churches in England, France and Germany.
