Flanders and Tony &#8216;King&#8217; Nolan.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was an absolutely ripping celebration and terrific to bring our past and present members together to toast what is a huge occasion,&#8221; Mr Thompson said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was also probably the first time in over 10 years since our 50th year celebrations that we could have that many members all in the one place at the one time&#8230; Mr Thompson said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I feel like that was the main part of the event, getting everyone together in the new clubhouse, particularly after events were called off due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of our eldest presidents, Tony Nolan from New Zealand turned up to the event and said he was just rapt with how far the club had come since his tenure.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are super proud and can&#8217;t wait for what the future holds.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE Jan Juc SLSC has toasted six decades of tradition and cherised memories at a special 60-year anniversary Sunset Soiree event at the weekend.
