According to owner Melissa Andrew, an interior designer with experience in visual merchandising and retail management, Livingetc prides itself on providing customers with the time, knowledge and care needed to fulfil their home styling dreams.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got a great team who have plenty of history and experience in the design world,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCollectively there is a lot of skill and knowledge within the team and we like to showcase that to each client that approaches us.<\/p>\n

\u201cStyling a home is very personal and we really take that on board and want to do that to the best of our ability.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s certainly an investment and we want our clients to walk into their homes and love them and feel like it\u2019s their sanctuary.<\/p>\n

\u201cUltimately, we don\u2019t like to put limits on styles we create and love what we can offer as a reputable and considered service for people in their homes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Continuing the Livingetc trend of providing clients with quality products and services, Mel has launched a rug collection and the team could not be more excited.<\/p>\n

The Berwynne rug collection, named after Mel\u2019s late grandmother, is a collection Mel hopes will inspire people to play with style and colour in their homes.<\/p>\n

When the opportunity came to design her very own collection, Mel said it was the perfect way to pay tribute to her grandmother.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was extremely creative and a huge inspiration in my life, so I couldn\u2019t think of a better way to celebrate her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rugs are an important element of styling a room and have the ability to make or break a space.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey complete a space by bringing everything together and can be the perfect opportunity to add a beautiful personal flare and touch of colour,\u201d Mel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey can also really help define zones in open living.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur rugs are a statement piece, the mix of colours translating into so many colour palettes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quality was a priority for Mel when designing the collection, which has been made from New Zealand wool, and provides a lovely warmth underfoot.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother range is on the way, but we won\u2019t be able to put you out of your misery until mid June,\u201d Mel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne hint, think \u2018Moroccan wool shags\u2019. Trust me, they\u2019ll be worth the wait.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mel and the team have not only enriched homes across the Surf Coast, Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula, but also across Australia with the range of furnishings including sofas, dining tables, coffee tables, side tables, rugs, artwork, lighting, homewares and outdoor furniture stocked at the Belmont store.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are currently working on projects in Melbourne and have even had the chance to work on properties in Queensland,\u201d Mel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlenty of these clients are local people that own holiday homes and can\u2019t find what they want, which is ultimately where we come in.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s nice to be trusted by them and we are certainly lucky to do our work far and wide.\u201d<\/p>\n
