Mr King said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 253px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/1_ActingPrimeMinist_27054.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"253\" height=\"379\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles completed the festival&#8217;s half marathon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;This weekend would not have been possible without the support of the local communities, our amazing event volunteers, partners, sponsors, spectators, and of course, the thousands of inspiring participants who came out in force to help make history.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Whether you were out on the courses, cheering from the sidelines, or helping behind the scenes, congratulations to all involved and thank you for your support.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We can&#8217;t wait to be back in May 2024.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 432px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/230521_GORRF2023_IM_47841.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"432\" height=\"288\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A record-breaking 9,350 registered runners participated across nine events.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ballarat&#8217;s Toby Menday won the men&#8217;s full marathon (44km) in 2:46:05, followed by Melbourne runners Bayden Westerweller and Tom Hall in second and third place, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Geelong&#8217;s Sara Coulter was the first woman to cross the finish line in the women&#8217;s marathon event in 3:06:05, smashing her second place time a year prior in 2022 by more than 40 seconds.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 453px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/1_GaryAblettJunio_01709.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"453\" height=\"302\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Geelong Cats legend and Jan Juc resident Gary Ablett Jr completed the 1.5km Kids\u2019 Gallop.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Caitlin Duncan from Melbourne came in second place, while Danni Rogan from Ocean Grove rounded out the podium.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/RACVSolarMarathon4_25270.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"473\" height=\"315\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Great Ocean Road coastline is one of the most beautiful places on the planet,&#8221;
