The magic of childhood is coming to GPAC with four shows for youngsters, parents, grandparents and the youngat-heart.
\nMuch-loved children\u2019s book The 52Storey Treehouse will come to life in The Playhouse on Wednesday March 30.
\nThe 52-Storey Treehouse, a play by Richard Tulloch, is adapted from the bestselling book by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton, following the huge success of The 26-Storey Treehouse and The 13Storey Treehouse.
\nAndy and Terry\u2019s treehouse is now 52-storeys high, with more fantastic inventions: a rocket powered carrot launcher, the disguise-o-matic 5000 and even a ninja snail training academy!
\nAs the story gets under way it emerges that Terry has forgotten Andy\u2019s birthday.
\nTo make matters worse, Mr Big Nose has mysteriously disappeared, and Jill has fallen into a deep sleep and they just can\u2019t wake her up.
\nAndy and Terry set off on a crazy adventure tackling a world of startling obstacles. Will they solve the mysteries and survive the dangers that test even their ingenuity?
\nThis imaginative play is perfect for children aged 6-12 and their adult guardians.
\nThe 52-Storey Treehouse is the first production in GPAC\u2019s Family Magic Program.
\nIn June, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre will bring The Little Prince to a new generation.
\nThen in July, see Hippo! Hippo!, a musical adventure based on the children\u2019s classic, There\u2019s a Hippopotamus on Our Roof Eating Cake.
\nThe final Family Magic production for the year will be Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, introducing today\u2019s children to the wonderful world of May Gibbs.
