{"id":110709,"date":"2023-07-24T04:00:18","date_gmt":"2023-07-23T18:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=110709"},"modified":"2023-07-26T15:54:51","modified_gmt":"2023-07-26T05:54:51","slug":"qmf-drop-second-lineup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/living\/qmf-drop-second-lineup\/","title":{"rendered":"QMF drop second lineup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>THE Queenscliff Music Festival continues to go from strength to strength after adding another 10 brilliant musicians to their stellar November festival lineup.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Joining the 25th anniversary of the popular coastal event from November 23 to 26, will be UK folk-punk troubadour Frank Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls, homegrown musical powerhouse Katy Steele, First Nations pop duo The Merindas and ARIA-nominated performer Georgia State Line, who took home the 2022 Music Victoria Award for Best Country Work.<\/p>\n<p>American Bluesman Ben Wilson and his band Racoon Dog will also be gracing the stage, while stylemasters Burger Joint, international award-winning band Frank Sultanas Blues Band, Mood Spill, Graham Moes and Melbourne based artist Danika will all offer their refreshing and immersive sounds throughout the festival.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_73216\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-73216\" style=\"width: 457px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-73216 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/07\/1420316603_1665533215.jpg-e1689917961712-457x320.png?_t=1689917963\" alt=\"\" width=\"457\" height=\"320\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-73216\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">First Nations pop duo The Merindas are set to get the party started at the Queenscliff Music Festival. Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The newly added artists join an already stacked lineup of international and local stars including Aloe Blacc, Australian icon Ian Moss, indie rock outfit Boy and Bear, and homegrown electronic musician Alice Ivy.<\/p>\n<p>Attracting more than 10,000 music lovers of all ages year round, the festival will turn the intimate spaces of the Queenscliff foreshore into a live music hub for four straight days.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration of live music will include family-friendly activities, locally sourced gourmet produce, the best local beers, wines and distillers and much more.<\/p>\n<p>Organisers are also proud to also announce this year\u2019s festival will feature Auslan interpreted shows across its main stages on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Artist information has now been updated via the festival website and includes a list of the Auslan interpreted performances.<\/p>\n<p>The full lineup for the Queenscliff Music Festival is as follows: Frank Turner &amp; The Sleeping Souls (UK), Katy Steele, The Merindas, Georgia State Line, Raccoon Dog, Burger Joint, Mood Spill, Frank Sultanas Blues Band , Danika + Graham Moes, Aloe Blacc, G Love &amp; Special Sauce, Foy Vance Boy &amp; Bear , Something For Kate, Illy, Dan Sultan, Liz Stringer, Ian Moss, The Dreggs, Ngulmiya, Alice Ivy, Xylouris White, Mindy Meng Wang x Tim Shiel, Jem Cassar-Daley, Felipe Baldomir, Leah Senior, JAZZPARTY, William Crighton, WILSN, BEANS, Full Flower Moon Band, The Badloves, Willie J &amp; The Bad Books, Eils &amp; The Drip, Emily Barker, Cat Canteri.
