Photos: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Led by captain and league best and fairest Danielle Sgarbi, the Wammos kicked one more major to put the result beyond doubt and celebrate a 21-point win on Drew Oval.<\/p>\n<p>Sgarbi was named best-on-ground for her performance, with contributions from Schaap, Laura Ryan, Georgia Irvine, Ashlee Bensted, and Tiahna Andree-Jansz.<\/p>\n<p>100-gamer Sophie Milsome was the game&#8217;s only multiple goal-kicker with two, backed up by Schaap and Lucy Were.<\/p>\n<p>Claire Macgill and Aliesha McLean kicked Grovedale&#8217;s only two goals, while Brooke Connolly, Natalie Worpel, Olivia Leonard, Taylah Hassett and Janessa FitzGerald were also named best on ground for the Tigers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 636px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2023\/08\/IMG_0475_27502.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"636\" height=\"424\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Modewarre kicked true to claim the Division 3 Grand Final over North Geelong.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Geelong West outlasted Thomson in the Division 2 decider in extra time by one point, 3.5.23 to 3.4.22, led by Alexandra Trezise&#8217;s pair of goals.<\/p>\n<p>Modewarre convincingly overcame North Geelong in the Division 3 Grand Final kicking six-goals straight to defeat the Magpies 1.8.14 to 6.0.36.<\/p>\n<p>Jorja Kirsopp-Cole punished North Geelong&#8217;s defenders, kicking three goals, alongside fellow goal-scorers Ashleigh Feehan, Kaela Schlensog, and Georgie Thomson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GEELONG Amateur will again sit atop the AFL Barwon Female Football landscape after an inspired 4.10.34 to 2.1.13 win over Grovedale on Sunday at Herne Hill Reserve.
