{"id":11822,"date":"2018-05-09T09:40:03","date_gmt":"2018-05-08T23:40:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=11822"},"modified":"2018-05-11T17:28:38","modified_gmt":"2018-05-11T07:28:38","slug":"sailings-elite-take-part-in-bellarine-training-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/news\/sailings-elite-take-part-in-bellarine-training-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"Sailing\u2019s elite take part in Bellarine training camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OLYMPIC level sailing coaches visited the Bellarine recently to share their knowledge with eager participants who attended a training camp at Indented Head Yacht Club.<\/p>\n<p>The training camp was organised by the Victorian Laser Association (VLA) and held over the weekend of April 28 and 29.<\/p>\n<p>The camp was led by Mark Tonner-Joyce an elite sailing coach who brought with him two former Olympic athletes and a former Australian Radial National Champion Rhett Gowans.<\/p>\n<p>One of the coaches, Sarah Blanck, represented Australia in both the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.
