THE Torquay Surf Life Saving Club Foundation is teeing off again with its annual fundraiser for the vital activities of the club.<\/p>\n

This year’s TSLSC Foundation Golf Day will be held at RACV Torquay Resort – located on the other side of Spring Creek from the Torquay SLSC clubrooms – and spots are filling up fast.<\/p>\n

Existing club members, supporters and partners are invited to join an afternoon of golf to assist the foundation in its ongoing efforts to raise money for Torquay SLSC<\/p>\n

The day includes 18 holes of golf, nearest the pin and other prizes, a post-golf presentation including finger food, and on-course drinks at bar prices.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It will be run in the four-person Ambrose format, but organisers said anyone who signs up without a team can be partnered with one on the day.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2015, the TSLSC Foundation exists to support the club in all areas of its ongoing service to its members and the community.<\/p>\n

With an annual membership base of more than 1,300, Torquay SLSC has a long history of saving lives, training future lifesavers and excelling in lifesaving competition.<\/p>\n

The club receives no direct funding and relies on donations, sponsorships, grants and fundraising.<\/p>\n

The 2023 TSLSC Foundation Golf Day will be held at RACV Torquay Resort on Friday, October 27 from 12 noon for a 1pm shotgun start.<\/p>\n

Cost is $100 per player.<\/p>\n

Golf cart hire can be arranged directly through RACV Torquay Resort.<\/p>\n
