{"id":123326,"date":"2023-12-15T04:10:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-14T17:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=123326"},"modified":"2023-12-14T16:13:17","modified_gmt":"2023-12-14T05:13:17","slug":"restart-reset-refocus-for-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/school-holiday-fun-guide\/restart-reset-refocus-for-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Restart, reset, refocus for 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to a new year of making learning fun and our students becoming more confident at Kip McGrath Torquay.<\/p>\n<p>We focus on the areas where students need help to improve their English and Maths skills and feel great about learning.<\/p>\n<p>For the seventh consecutive year, Kip McGrath Torquay is running an intensive Summer School program to give students the best possible start to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Your child can continue their tuition to ensure they consolidate and develop the knowledge they&#8217;ve learnt in the previous school year.<\/p>\n<p>Summer School starts daily on January 22-26 and sessions will be running from 9-10am, 10.15-11.15am and 11.30am-12.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>Afternoon sessions can also be offered if needed.<\/p>\n<p>The cost is $300 for the five lessons and senior students are also welcome if they want to start early on their studies for 2024.<\/p>\n<p>An initial assessment is essential before starting the program. When you book a literacy or numeracy assessment, we identify any learning gaps and can put a plan in place to support each student.<\/p>\n<p>Students can start the year knowing there is a solution in place and feel confident about starting the school year.<\/p>\n<p>With weekly tutoring sessions, Kip McGrath students experience improved confidence, results and a positive change in their attitude towards learning.<\/p>\n<p>The free learning assessment in centre, is a tool parents can use to determine their child&#8217;s competencies in English or Maths.<\/p>\n<p>Find out how Kip McGrath tutoring can make a difference.
