We have had two nephews as house guests for a few days over Easter.
\nThey are teenage boys and it has come as a shock to my wife how much food they plough through. I remember being 15 and eating mountains of food. In fact, an uncle of mine used to encourage us with competitions to see who could devour the most sausages in a sitting. The winner would always consume well over a dozen. Probably not so politically correct behaviour in these times of food correctness, but suffice to say, teenage boys have unusually large appetites.
