TORQUAY Boardriders Club will be sharing the full Bells Beach experience with guests next month at its Easter Luncheon.<\/p>\n

For the first time in the lunch\u2019s history, the fundraiser will be held on the VIP Deck on site at the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach.<\/p>\n

The March 24 event will entail a full afternoon of food, drinks, guest speakers and major auctions, all with the hallowed Bells Bowl surf break in the background.<\/p>\n

World tour surfers, elite sportspeople, business entrepreneurs and cultural icons have all spoken at the event in the past, and guests are being told to expect more of the same and better in 2024.<\/p>\n

All funds raised from the event will help the club deliver development programs, events, support representative teams and equipment upgrades.<\/p>\n

Torquay Boardriders president Tully Wylie said excitement was high heading into the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the Easter Luncheon is about bringing an unforgettable Bells experience to our guests, there\u2019s no better place to do it than on site out at Djarrak.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Jan Juc SLSC has been an incredible venue to host our first three Luncheon events and we are incredibly grateful for their support, however when the WSL presented the opportunity for us to hold this year\u2019s event on the cliff at Bells, we couldn\u2019t say no!<\/p>\n

\u201cThe change in venue means this luncheon will be different to our previous sit-down approach, it\u2019ll be a semi standing more cocktail style vibe and we are confident we can put on our best production and experience yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got some amazing experiences and offerings in the works and we can\u2019t wait to announce our guest speakers\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said the proceeds from the luncheon had already benefitted the club astronomically.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s completely helped the club move into a more modern, high quality and safer era. We\u2019ve finally been able to replace our club van and execute a long overdue update of our essential equipment such as tents, PA, first aid and computer equipment.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost importantly though, we can better service all our our members, in particular our nationally revered junior development programs.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a volunteer club we survive on fundraising, for us to be able to run our Wings Coaching Programs and<\/p>\n

financially support members attending the Australian Junior Titles or the ISA World Junior Titles is a really special.<\/p>\n

\u201cUltimately, the funds help us to give opportunities to our members so they can have some fantastic experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

Special guests, experiences and auction items are expected to be rolled out in the coming week through the club\u2019s Instagram account.<\/p>\n
