A JAM-PACKED lineup of surf specific activations and workshops have been locked in for the inaugural High Line Surf Fest next weekend.<\/p>\n

The March 9 event at the Torquay SLSC will invite women and non-binary ocean lovers of all ages and abilities to honour surf culture.<\/p>\n

A guided walk on Wadawurrung Country with Traditional Owners will start the festivities under the morning sky.<\/p>\n

It will be followed by an intermediate and advanced surf session with Surf Her Way coaches Angela King and Tiffany Riggs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Panels shows and two separate dance and movement workshops will take place before lunch, then the women will jump in the water for the High Line Tag Team event.<\/p>\n

A local boardriders information session and a keynote panel chat about shaping surf culture will wrap up the day before DJ Deep Velour takes over.<\/p>\n

The event will also feature Food from Feed Me Surf Coast and drinks from the Torquay SLSC and Blackmans Brewery.<\/p>\n

High Line Surf Fest co-organiser Ula Majewksi said the program encapsulated everything good about women in surfing.<\/p>\n

“We are just so excited about the inaugural women’s surf festival!<\/p>\n

“We’ve got women coming from right across the state to come and connect with each other and share the stoke.<\/p>\n

“It’s a huge and beautiful program of really diverse panels, workshops, a friendly tag team, an amazing DJ and some other really fun activities.<\/p>\n

“It’s going to be one not to miss, and we are so thankful for all the community support thus far.”<\/p>\n

Several raffle draws will also be on the agenda throughout the day, with proceeds supporting Surfrider Foundation, the Torquay SLSC and a coral reef rejuvenation project in Fiji.<\/p>\n

Tickets to the event are free.<\/p>\n
