In addition, a number of damaged storm water and sewage lines were replaced.<\/p>\n<p>Our contractors, Southern Edge Landscapes and Chris Trigg Plumbing completed the works and the school community can be proud of the upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>A huge thank you to our Parent Club for their amazing work in contributing over $65,000 towards the completion of the project and to the 2016 Falls Festival Grant from which the College received $10,000.<\/p>\n<p>Also thanks to our consultant architect Josh Crosbie and the Buildings and Grounds sub-committee in developing the plans for the area.<\/p>\n<p>Through the \u2018Artists in Schools\u2019 program local artist Veronica Phillips has worked with our students to construct a \u2018willow pod\u2019 at the northern end which beautifully complements the front area, a big thank you to Veronica for her imagination and creativity.<\/p>\n<p>Further works will be completed this year on the Smith Street frontage.<\/p>\n<p>A sculpture designed by Glen Romanis and Mark Trinham will be installed to complement the front entrance with $9,000 of funding towards this coming from the 2017 Falls Festival Grant.
