Samesyn Restaurant has already provided several free dinners and has more planned.<\/p>\n
“We’ve had four dinners already and have another five booked in,” Mr Jefferies said.<\/p>\n
“People come to us for various reasons, including issues at home, mental health, or just needing a night out. We don’t judge; we just want to offer a bit of joy.”<\/p>\n
He said it was important to support the community during tough times.<\/p>\n
“We try to offer a full experience, not just a meal.<\/p>\n
“Guests get a nine-dish tasting menu with wine. It’s about bringing a smile to their faces, whether they’re struggling financially or just need a break.”<\/p>\n
Both JoJo and Jefferies highlighted the importance of community support in these challenging times. “There’s a lot of us in the community thinking of ways to help each other out,” JoJo said.<\/p>\n
Graham agreed, saying “We believe in using what we do to benefit others and create a supportive environment.”<\/p>\n
