The Master Builders Association of Victoria awarded Metricon with the title of Residential Builder of the Year for the South West region at their recent annual celebration of building excellence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Metricon\u2019s Delta 25 on display in Mt Duneed, the Amira 28BP on display in Lara and a custom home in Point Lonsdale also took home awards.<\/p>\n

The Master Builder\u2019s judging panel were impressed with the exceptional build quality and contemporary flexible family living offered in all three designs.<\/p>\n

Metricon general manager for regional Victoria Phil Barrett said that Metricon had a proud 40-year history of creating homes for Australian families to love where they live.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe best custom home win for the impressive Akuna at Point Lonsdale is very exciting on a few fronts.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany of the design elements of this amazing home are now being introduced to our standard range.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe smart single level floorplan of the Delta in Mt Duneed has been cleverly designed for a growing family with its bedrooms located along one side of the home, providing a light filled open layout with living areas on the other side.<\/p>\n

Metricon celebrated the construction of over 7,000 new homes in regional Victoria earlier this year.<\/p>\n

After moving into the Geelong region more than 14 years ago, the company now employs more than 80 people in the region alone, as well as an excess of more than 250 locals tradespeople, who are all committed to producing high quality homes.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur regional teams are comprised of local staff, site managers, service and warranty and trades, meaning that they too are part of the community where so many people are deciding to build beautiful new homes,\u201d Mr Barrett said.<\/p>\n
