Artist photographer Ferne Millen\u2019s work covers a cross section of commercial, corporate and personal clients to tailor unique photographs to fit their image and needs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Jan Juc resident\u2019s recent work includes the festival site at the Australian Open working to capture the music and lifestyle aspects of the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cI work with Life Saving Victoria to produce images for their corporate body and current campaigns. Over the months of March and April I was commissioned by Wine Geelong to capture many of the local wineries on the Surf Coast, Moorabool Valley and Bellarine Peninsula to capture their stories during vintage.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also works with local government, and will shortly produce stunning portraits for local Indigenous elders and their families for NAIDOC Week and its 2018 theme \u201cBecause of her, we can\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI support many local business people who are passionate about their business and where we live as I am too. I love to capture people in my studio and in their own environments to help them promote what they do and who they are,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a local business owner myself I love the challenge of working to capture the unique qualities of every client and help them tell their story. I feel very fortunate to live here on this beautiful coast and work with the people in it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ferne has been working in the field for more than 20 years and is passionate about what she does.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am always looking to grow and develop as an artist so this year I am working towards an exhibition on dance and movement, which will open in Geelong in October,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis project will see me working with many local artists and dancers from here and Melbourne. It will see me heading to Japan and New York in September to further my scope for subjects and personal growth. I will working there and do some workshops in NYC.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a long-term project which will see me developing as an artist both in skills and possibilities that will contribute back to my clientele I have here and produce infinite possibilities for my creative goals as an artist.\u201d<\/p>\n
