THE Surf Coast Shire is encouraging local businesses of all sizes and from all sectors to share their experiences via an online survey.<\/p>\n

The information gathered through the Business Insights Survey will assist the shire to better support local businesses and the economic growth of the community, informing its programs, services and policies.<\/p>\n

The survey takes about four minutes to complete and aims to understand the present business environment, with questions based around the priorities, challenges and insights of local owner-operators.<\/p>\n

Shire mayor Liz Pattison said the council is committed to understanding the unique needs of the shire’s local businesses and providing them with the support they need to succeed.<\/p>\n

“Council encourages all businesses to participate as we value the input of our local owner operators,” she said.<\/p>\n

“The more information collected, the more we can understand what businesses want to thrive into the future.<\/p>\n

“We look forward to seeing local businesses build a stronger, more resilient local economy.”<\/p>\n

Participating businesses will also go into the running to win a $1000 video production prize with local videographer Heidi Banas Creative.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to win a prize for participating businesses,” Cr Pattison said.<\/p>\n

“Heidi has offered a 60-second promotional video.”<\/p>\n

Survey results will be released in spring on the Surf Coast Business Collective Facebook page and in the collective’s newsletter.<\/p>\n
