Geelong Performing Arts Centre\u2019s ever-popular concert series Musical Mornings returns in July with more music from favourite performers along with brand new shows.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Proudly presented by Tuckers Funeral and Bereavement Services, Musical Mornings Season 2 kicks off on July 11 with B Sharp Big Band featuring Tamara Kuldin.<\/p>\n

Melbourne\u2019s most exciting, swingin\u2019 big band \u2013 the B Sharp Big Band will have audiences\u2019 feet a-tappin\u2019 and hearts a-poundin\u2019.<\/p>\n

The sultry, sassy Tamara Kuldin will join the band for this very special concert featuring classic arrangements of the \u201830s, \u201840s and \u201850s, along with tunes made famous by Anita O\u2019Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Doris Day and other mid-century swingin\u2019 chanteuses.<\/p>\n

Then in August we go Bach to Broadway with Australian star tenor Bradley Daley and international soprano Alison Jones.<\/p>\n

This concert crosses over from opera to musicals; folk songs to jazz; plus Broadway classics.<\/p>\n

In September, Simon Gleeson will present a very special concert experience for musical theatre lovers with Bring Him Home.<\/p>\n

Then in November we celebrate the centenary of the end of World War I with Great Songs of the War Years, featuring 20 songs from the Andrew Sisters, Vera Lynn and more, plus a special tribute to the Vietnam War with music from Bob Dylan and Normie Rowe.<\/p>\n

To wrap up the season, one of our most popular performers, Silvie Paladino, will return to the Playhouse to delight audiences with her Christmas concert.<\/p>\n
