Immerse yourself in the serene adventure of ballooning over Geelong, the Bellarine and the area that is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Its sunrise flights offer a magical and safe adventure, starting early to capture the perfect sunrise and ideal weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Attendees meet at The Rydges Geelong (Myers St & Gheringhap St, Geelong) about 1\u00bd hours before dawn, between 4:00 am and 6:00 am, depending on the season.<\/p>\n

From there, participants are transferred to the selected launch site.<\/p>\n

The activity is one of \u201caudience participation,\u201d allowing passengers to assist with balloon preparations if able to. This process takes about 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

Take-off locations vary based on wind direction, ensuring the best views and safety.<\/p>\n

Possible launch sites include the Bellarine Peninsula, Geelong city, Murgheboluc, or Bannockburn, offering stunning vistas such as Port Phillip Bay, the ocean, and the Barwon River.<\/p>\n

Once airborne, guests experience a smooth and tranquil ride, navigating with different wind layers.<\/p>\n

Ballooning emphasises reflection and appreciation over adrenaline, with no risk of altitude sickness.<\/p>\n

The entire adventure lasts about 3 to 4 hours, including a delicious breakfast back at The Rydges after your flight.<\/p>\n
