THE Torquay Surf Life Saving Club is in preparations for its Annual Golf Day, to be held later this month.<\/p>\n

The event will again be hosted at the club’s ‘home course’, the Torquay Golf Club at RACV Torquay Resort.<\/p>\n

Supported by RACV and several other local businesses, the event will see dozens of four-person Ambrose teams battle it out for several individual hole prizes donated by generous club sponsors.<\/p>\n

There will also be event prizes awarded at the Torquay SLSC clubrooms at the post-golf function. For those that don’t want to follow a ball around 18 holes but still want to support the club, the Blackmans Garden Bar will be open to the public from 5pm and will have raffle draws for all in attendance.<\/p>\n

Organisers say the golf day is one of the first key fundraising events for the 2024\u201325 life saving season, so the club would love to see local businesses and members join in the fun event.<\/p>\n

The Torquay SLSC Annual Golf Day will be held on October 25 from noon for a 1pm shotgun start.<\/p>\n
