A DOZEN local artists will have their creative works featured in 2025 Surf Coast Community Arts Calendar.<\/p>\n

Judging of the calendar competition concluded last week with more than 75 people submitting ceramics, fibre works, linocuts and paintings.<\/p>\n

The twelve winners will have their works showcased on the monthly pages of the calendar, while a People’s Choice award competition will determine a front cover winner.<\/p>\n

Those to receive $300 each and acknowledgement in the calendar included:<\/p>\n

Albee Pickering, Rainbow, (less than 12 years), pencil on paper<\/p>\n

Alexia Bennett, Point Addis, Open 2D, linocut with added watercolour<\/p>\n

Surf Coast Shire chief executive officer Robyn Seymour congratulated all entrants on their impressive works.<\/p>\n

“Thanks to everyone who entered, and congratulations to our winners.<\/p>\n

“Judges were faced with some tough choices given the quality and diversity of the works. People can see for themselves by visiting the exhibition at Anglesea Art Space.<\/p>\n

“We hope all entrants enjoy being part of the exhibition. It is a great opportunity to gain some exposure and recognition, and we look forward to seeing who takes out the People’s Choice award.”<\/p>\n
