The vibrant and moving performance is set to get crowds up and dancing once more with three other acts. Mr Shen Pangeng will play the erhu, Johan Winkler will perform a poignant monologue about the plight of refugees followed by musician Louise Brown. The money raised goes to the Aireys Inlet Rural Australians for Refugees (AIRAR). The show celebrates the life of Marjorie Lawrence who won the Sun Aria in Geelong in 1928 and conquered the operatic world in Europe and America, becoming the highest paid Prima Donna at the Paris Opera. The audience will experience an emotional rollercoaster, reduced to tears and then to roars of laughter as her stoicism and enthusiasm for life itself and singing are shown in a humorous manner.
