CRITICAL power upgrades have been made at the Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club to ensure it remains equipped to serve the community effectively and sustainably.<\/p>\n
Works were completed last week on replacing the “deteriorating” main power distribution board at the club.<\/p>\n
Originally installed in 2015 as part of an underground power project, the existing board suffered extensive salt air exposure damage.<\/p>\n
Faced with an urgent need for replacement, the club secured substantial funding through a state government Tiny Towns grant and additional support from the local community.<\/p>\n
The new power board features a durable stainless-steel casing designed to withstand coastal weather and ensure greater longevity and reliability.<\/p>\n
Anglesea SLSC expressed its gratitude for the support received.<\/p>\n
“This upgrade was critical for the ongoing operations of the club. The generous grant from the Tiny Towns program, combined with our Resilience Fund, made it all possible,” the club stated.<\/p>\n
