BELLBRAE Cemetery is calling for two new trust members to join its volunteer team to help manage and preserve the site’s serene parkland setting.<\/p>\n

The cemetery’s recent projects include seven rock-walled garden beds for ashes interments, planted with vibrant native flowers, and additional rose gardens, which are now in full bloom.<\/p>\n

Plans are also underway to expand the lower section of the cemetery, creating new burial plots and ashes positions while maintaining the natural, tranquil environment.<\/p>\n

Annie Young, a long-serving trust member, said joining the trust was both meaningful and rewarding.<\/p>\n

“Our families are so appreciative of everything we do to make the cemetery a peaceful and beautifully maintained place to visit,” she said.<\/p>\n

Trust members meet quarterly and contribute through tasks such as meeting with families, attending interments, participating in working bees, and leading special projects.<\/p>\n
