On January 7, the Moriac urban collection and Winchelsea urban collection will take place.<\/p>\n
“We all know during this busy time that extra rubbish accumulates, so it is great to have these extra collections,” Cr Leon Walker said.<\/p>\n
“Make sure you use SCRRApp, Surf Coast Shire’s very own rubbish and recycling app. It is so easy to see the bin changes and extra collection for your house on the app.<\/p>\n
“There is also an A-Z guide that tells you which bin your rubbish goes in. It’s simple to put the right waste in the right bin with the app.”<\/p>\n
Residents are reminded to leave a 0.5m space between their bins to make it easier for truck drivers, and not to overfill bins.<\/p>\n
Kerbside waste collection and the opening hours of the transfer stations may change in the event of extreme weather, with changes announced on Council’s social media pages and the SCRRApp.<\/p>\n
