THE 2025 Bellarine Football Netball League fixture for 2025 has been locked in by AFL Barwon.<\/p>\n

The local sporting body released the schedule for the coming season this evening (Thursday, December 19).<\/p>\n

A mouth-watering clash between 2024 football grand finalists Torquay and Anglesea is set for ANZAC Day (April 25).<\/p>\n

The two sides will face off for the first time on the public holiday and will join Drysdale and Portarlington in playing on the historic day.<\/p>\n

Geelong Amateur will need to wait until Round 7 (May 24) to get its chance at knocking off back-to-back A Grade premiers Ocean Grove.<\/p>\n

Ocean Grove defeated Geelong Amateur in this year\u2019s decider by five points, following the Ammos going undefeated through the regular season.<\/p>\n

There will be two league byes next year, falling on May 17 and May 18 and July 12 and July 13.<\/p>\n

The 2025 BFNL season will be the second year of the promotion and relegation system.<\/p>\n

In 2026, one side go up into the Geelong Football Netball League (GFNL) and one side come down to the BFNL. This will be at the discretion of the clubs.<\/p>\n

The Surf Coast Suns will also join the BFNL in 2026.<\/p>\n
