Photo: PATRICK CALLOW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nightjar was amazing. It was full of lots of people, lots of families, lots of little kids, teenagers. It was amazing, the vibe was amazing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were really, really fortunate to have a great season and lots of people supporting us, so we&#8217;re super excited and already dreaming up some more ideas for next year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Local artists and big names alike shared the stage across the two festival nights.<\/p>\n<p>Making up the January 3 lineup was Milo Eastwood, Kim Churchill, the Bellarine Lip Bombs, Pollyman and Solar Way.<\/p>\n<p>January 10 saw Surf Trash, Bones and Jones, Frenzee, Gimmy and Wild Honey all take the stage to round out 2025&#8217;s entertainment.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/01\/473253114_1124328205_63985.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">More than 12,500 people attended the 2025 festival, embracing the second year of its new format.\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Off the stage, the family friendly event included entertainment for festivalgoers of all ages with a silent disco, kids arts and crafts, Bepop Circus and more.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Nightjar Festival also saw the introduction of the Big Thrift Market on January 9, filled with unique pieces to help reduce clothing waste.<\/p>\n<p>The market was a haven for both fashion enthusiasts and bargain hunters, all while promoting eco-friendly shopping practices.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The market&#8217;s got grit and sustainability at its core, and I loved being a part of this local initiative.&#8221; Serena McCartney from The Glitter Babe Bar said 2025 marked the second year the Nightjar Festival has operated in its new format, with more people getting on board with an incredible artist line-up and what was on offer.<\/p>\n<p>The Big Top also returned to this year&#8217;s event, hosting the new wellness series with free yoga, Pilates and breath work classes, along with free mental health and menopause talks.<\/p>\n<p>Event organisers are looking forward to developing those ideas for when the festival returns in 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NIGHTJAR Festival&#8217;s return to the Surf Coast has come to an end for 2025, concluding with its final event on Friday last week.
