THE Sands Torquay resort has put the 100 strata titles that cover the 112 hotel rooms in the resort up for sale.<\/p>\n

According to the resort\u2019s website, prospective buyers will get up to 30 days of use each year, resort benefits and a 5 per cent guaranteed return.<\/p>\n

The strata titles will remain as hotel rooms for short-term stays under a management agreement with The Sands Torquay owner Destination Leisure Holdings, which acquired the business in 2021 for $12.8 million.<\/p>\n

Under the terms of the sale, the owners of the rooms can use them for up to five nights during the high season (December 1 to February 28), up to 10 nights during the shoulder season (March 1 to May 31 and September 1 to November 30) and up to 15 nights during the low season (June 1 to August 31).<\/p>\n

Prices range from $240,000 to $750,000.<\/p>\n

The overall 76.5-hectare property was listed for sale last year, and it remains on the market.<\/p>\n
