Pictured here is Jeff Harper from the Holden HSV Club Sport.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event serves as one of the Rotary Club of Torquay&#8217;s major fundraising events for the year and a variety of prizes were handed out on the day, including the new People&#8217;s Choice Award.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Hall said the event was a &#8220;pleasing financial success&#8221; considering the conditions, and all proceeds from the event would be disperse across the Rotary club&#8217;s charities both locally and abroad, including its major international project aiding the Lese Oalai School in the Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea.<\/p>\n<p>As planning turns to next year&#8217;s motor show, Mr Hall said the Rotary Club would be looking to add new features to the beloved community event, as well as improvements to the event&#8217;s operation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CLASSIC cars of all makes and models were on display over the weekend as the Torquay Motor Show returned to Elephant Walk for its 15th edition.
