The Ocean as well as some of their old favourites.<\/p>\n<p>Since emerging as leading lights of the late 2000s indie rock scene, The Wombats have maintained constant momentum.<\/p>\n<p>Second album The Modern Glitch made them top 10 regulars, while Glitterbug and Greek Tragedy both became global sensations.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, the band achieved their first number one album with Fix Yourself Not the World, seeing them reach more than 2.5 billion streams.<\/p>\n<p>New album Oh! The Ocean was recorded in Echo Park Los Angeles in July last year during six weeks of sessions with new producer John Congleton.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/02\/DMA_S_PressShot_Ever_18806.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">DMA&#8217;s are sure to bring the energy to Torquay later this year. Photo: KALPESH LATHIGRA.\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It aims to move audiences with its emotional honesty as it offers a fresh perspective of the band sprinting onwards into a mature new phase.<\/p>\n<p>The Wombats will be joined in Torquay on September 20 by DMA&#8217;s, Ball Park Music, Del Water Gap, Bea and her Business and Ra Ra Viper.<\/p>\n<p>DMA&#8217;s has recently played massive festival slots at US juggernaut Coachella, Lollapalooza, Splendour in the Grass and English festivals Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, the band played sold out shows across across Australia, the UK and Ireland and supported Liam Gallagher&#8217;s UK arena tour.<\/p>\n<p>The band&#8217;s third album The Glow in 2020 debuted at number two on the ARIA Charts, fourth in the UK and number one in Scotland.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/02\/BEA_HERBUSINESS93_18871.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bea and Her Business is inspired by Lily Allen and Lana Del Ray and is sure to exude plenty of charisma on stage.
