Tim Watson said the walk was a wonderful way to embrace a great cause.<\/p>\n
“We had some really good conversations along the way, different stories, and that’s what it’s designed to do.”<\/p>\n
Mr Watson said he and Ollie were able to raise more than $2,500; five times their initial target.<\/p>\n
“To raise that amount of money was amazing. We didn’t expect it at all. $500 would have great, but to get to $2,500 was incredible!<\/p>\n
“The APCO in Barwon Heads helped raise over $500 for us too. We are super thankful.”<\/p>\n
More than $43,000 was raised at the Melbourne walk alone.<\/p>\n
