ANY level of surfer can catch a wave along the Surf Coast and Bellarine this Easter.<\/p>\n
Here’s where you can surf during the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.<\/p>\n
Children and beginners:<\/strong><\/p>\n
Head to Fisherman’s Beach or Cosy Corner for a small rolling wave. The often-calm conditions are often perfect for those catching some of their first whitewater waves.<\/p>\n
Point Roadknight and RAAFs near Ocean Grove are also good options for those starting out if conditions permit.<\/p>\n
Novice to intermediate:<\/strong><\/p>\n
Torquay Front Beach, Anglesea Main Beach and Lorne Front Beach provide a solid option for those looking to improve their surfing from beginner level.<\/p>\n
Surfers can graduate from the whitewater to the clean green faced waves and begin to practice turning their board and changing direction.<\/p>\n
Over on the Bellarine, Ocean Grove Main Beach is also a good option.<\/p>\n
All beaches do have rocks on the shore and are prone to strong currents, so beware and exercise caution.<\/p>\n
Experienced to expert:<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Surf Coast and Bellarine offer up plenty for strong surfers.<\/p>\n
Those who are confident should head to Jan Juc, Fairhaven, Guvvos, O’Donoghues, Spout Creek and other breaks along the Great Ocean Road.<\/p>\n
If you’re on the Bellarine, check out the beach breaks along 13th Beach, or head further down towards Point Lonsdale.<\/p>\n
Once you’ve wrapped up things in the water, head to the range of amazing restaurants, breweries, bars, galleries and tourist attractions around town.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
