{"id":159833,"date":"2025-04-17T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/news\/meet-your-favourite-surfers\/"},"modified":"2025-05-12T16:13:52","modified_gmt":"2025-05-12T06:13:52","slug":"meet-your-favourite-surfers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/swell-magazine\/meet-your-favourite-surfers\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet your favourite surfers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SURF fans can meet their favourite surfing stars at a series of athlete signings and meet and greets this Easter weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The Rusty surf team will be at Strapper Surf at Surf City Plaza tomorrow (Saturday, April 19) for a live T-shirt and jean heat press print station.<\/p>\n<p>Pro team riders Wade Carmichael and Letty Mortensen will be signing autographs and giving away prizes from 12 noon onwards.<\/p>\n<p>There will be an exclusive free Strapper x Rusty T-shirt for the first 25 customers to purchase any Rusty product on the day.<\/p>\n<p>DJ Jordan James will be playing music from 3pm onwards to bring the energy.<\/p>\n<p>Strapper will also be hosting a free barbecue on both Easter Saturday and Sunday in partnership with Vissla.<\/p>\n<p>The Quiksilver and Roxy team will be at Boardriders Torquay from 4.30pm to 5.30pm tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Join the team for stickers, giveaways, high fives and more.<\/p>\n<p>Rip Curl will be holding a signing of their own from 4.30pm tomorrow onwards at its Torquay flagship store.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees are invited to bring a wetsuit to recycle to skip the queue.<\/p>\n<p>On Easter Sunday, Rip Curl will host a free Stories from\u00a0the Eddie Big Wave Invitational Q&amp;A.
