FOUNDED in 2018, Country to Coast Home Care Services has become a trusted name in local aged care, and provides award-winning home care services.<\/p>\n

Managing director and founder Lucy Lincoln said the team is committed to offering services exclusively within the Surf Coast region because it ensures that families get the highest level of care that is “by locals, for locals”.<\/p>\n

“While we are proud of our services, we are also mindful of the increasing complexities surrounding aged care\u00a0in Australia.<\/p>\n

“The corporatisation of aged care services, particularly in recent years, has raised concerns for many families and providers.<\/p>\n

“With new policy changes on the horizon this year, it’s clear that the system is becoming more complex.<\/p>\n

“These changes could create additional barriers for families trying to access the care and support they need, making it even more important for locally based services like ours to step up and provide accessible, personalised care that continues to prioritise the individual.”<\/p>\n

Increased regulatory demands have forced many small, community-based providers to shut down or be absorbed by larger corporate entities. The government will be introducing further reforms specifically targeted at the home care sector via the Support at Home Program which is currently scheduled to commence in July this year.<\/p>\n

In response to this, Country to Coast Home Care Services is excited to announce the release of a video project featuring locals, which is available to view on their website, and they will be opening a new storefront in Anglesea.<\/p>\n

This community-focused initiative will offer a place where people can visit for more information, support, and services.<\/p>\n

“It’s part of our ongoing commitment to help break down the barriers caused by the increasing complexity of the aged care system and to provide a reliable, welcoming point of contact for seniors and their families,” Ms Lincoln said.<\/p>\n

Many people wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. This desire for independence, coupled with the familiarity and security of home, has been a good option for many in their later years.<\/p>\n

“Country to Coast Home Care Services is not just about providing care \u2013 we’re about fostering a stronger, more sustainable, and age-friendly community,” Ms Lincoln said.<\/p>\n

“Our goal is to continue advocating for seniors and to make home care services as seamless and fulfilling as possible.<\/p>\n
