At Surf Coast Mind Body Health, the team’s mission is to make mental health care accessible to the community, ensuring clients can access high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy from all walks of life.<\/p>\n

The team understand that mental health doesn’t discriminate.<\/p>\n

Whether navigating stressors of daily living or experiencing any mental health vulnerability, the team can support improved coping, management of emotional distress, problem solving and the improvement of overall mental health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

The space is a collective of clinicians working toward the creation of a wellness setting where community can access support without unnecessary barriers.<\/p>\n

Surf Coast Mind Body Health is committed to keeping mental health care accessible by offering flexible appointment options, both in-person consults in the Torquay clinic and virtual telehealth appointments for those in surrounding regional and rural areas.<\/p>\n

The team of clinicians are trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, and adopt a neurodiversity-affirming, gender-affirming, and trauma- informed lens in their work.<\/p>\n

Surf Coast Mind Body Health meet clients where they are, working collaboratively to support goals that matter to them, not just ticking clinical boxes.<\/p>\n

Clinicians provide support in individual, relationship and group formats to improve mental health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Psychometric assessments are also provided, using a tiered structure to facilitate formal diagnostic support and the provision of comprehensive assessment reports across the lifespan. The structure ensures that clients are not completing unnecessary and costly assessments, with the team working on an as needed basis.<\/p>\n
