Our contest work was really good and just getting first hands on the ball.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s no doubting how good they are. They&#8217;ve been the benchmark for the last few years.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/06\/BarwonHeads2_47867.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Barwon Heads&#8217; Kallum Hinchcliffe kicks long.\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So we&#8217;ll have to be as good as we were last Saturday, if not better, to make sure we get the right result.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Seagulls beat Drysdale by 43 points in Round 10 after kicking 4.2 to 0.2 in the second stanza.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Davis, Finn Cornell and Zach Walter featured in the best while Jack Henderson booted four goals.<\/p>\n<p>The sixth-placed Seagulls have had an up and down season.<\/p>\n<p>They beat Queenscliff by one goal in Round 2 before losing to the Coutas by 28 points a fortnight ago.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, they have suffered narrow defeats to Geelong Amateur, Anglesea and Modewarre.<\/p>\n<p>In other Round 11 matches, Drysdale host Queenscliff in a blockbuster, Ocean Grove have Anglesea, Portarlington welcome Modewarre and Newcomb duel Geelong Ammos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BARWON Heads is aiming for a much improved performance against Torquay this weekend, who they lost to by 73 points in BFL Round 3.
