Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were also lucky enough to see woodworks by Eli Beke and Glen Romanis, as well as David Graham, who is a blacksmith, and Ben the printer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After we saw the artists, we went to Kates&#8217;s studio to do some painting ourselves.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The students produced a variety of different paintings from abstract art to paintings of scenic nature.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Thank you to Kate for taking us around and to everyone at Ashmore Arts for giving us this very special and enriching opportunity,&#8221; Behan said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We all enjoyed it and are so grateful for this experience which has enabled us to immerse ourselves in different areas of art that we didn&#8217;t know much about.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IN PREPARATION for a coming project, Torquay College&#8217;s Arts Captains went on an excursion to Ashmore Arts in Torquay earlier this month to get inspired.
