WORKS to revitalise the Lorne Sea Baths Precinct are scheduled to start shortly, further enhancing the foreshore experience for locals and visitors alike.<\/p>\n
The upgrades, which are being led by Landcorp Foreshore Precinct Pty Ltd will involve improving the services and facilities on offer to the public.<\/p>\n
Landcorp’s project will establish a new spa and wellness centre and deliver a range of improvements to enhance functionality and appeal of the precinct.<\/p>\n
Planned upgrades include refurbished wellness and customer service areas, additional private bathing options, and improved boardwalk connections and power.<\/p>\n
As the public land manager, the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) has resolved to issue a new lease to Landcorp to enable the project.<\/p>\n
The lease includes special conditions shaped by community feedback gathered during GORCAPA’s extensive engagement process in 2023.<\/p>\n
This includes guaranteed school access, minimum trading requirements to encourage year-round operation, and commitments to heating and all-season usability.<\/p>\n
