Fellow Aireys Inlet local Kendra Harding reached out to this masthead about the fundraising event, and Ms Dooley’s work, and expressed her appreciation for the 92-year-old’s efforts.<\/p>\n
“[Dooley] is an inspiration with her positive outlook on life,” Ms Harding said.<\/p>\n
“She is the main reason the community wants to support raising money for Dr Mo.”<\/p>\n
The raffle night, to take place on August 1, will include a comedy show from Melbourne’s Jeremy Dooley and various prizes will be up for grabs.<\/p>\n
These prizes include local accessories and artworks, such as a crossbody shoulder bag, hand-knitted fingerless mittens and a framed\u00a0oil painting.<\/p>\n
“Noreen is raising funds for ANMF nurses and midwives through a GoFundMe campaign for Dr Mo’s mission to heal wounded children and babies in Gaza,” Ms Harding said<\/p>\n
“To support this cause, Noreen [has made] handmade bracelets in the colours of the Palestine flag, which will be available for purchase at the Aireys Inlet Post Office (cash only) or on the raffle night.<\/p>\n
“Come and enjoy a night of laughter, community, and support for a meaningful cause.”<\/p>\n
