AS THE Geelong Small Business Festival continues to shine a spotlight on innovation, resilience, and entrepreneurship, it’s clear small businesses are the beating heart of the local economy.<\/p>\n

Behind the scenes, it takes more than great ideas to keep that heart strong – it takes investment,support, and belief in the power of community.<\/p>\n

Now in its second year, the $25,000 Morris Business Grant – delivered by leading finance provider Morris, in partnership with the Geelong Chamber of Commerce – is doing more than funding business growth. It’s helping shape a thriving, innovative and connected Geelong.<\/p>\n

The grant is open to local small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) with big ideas and bold visions. Whether it’s expanding a product line, upgrading technology, training staff, or investing in equipment, the funding is designed to remove barriers and accelerate potential. But it’s not just about the money – it’s about the message.<\/p>\n

Morris’s impact goes far beyond financial services, demonstrating a genuine commitment to supporting and growing the local business community. As a sponsor of the 2025 Geelong Small Business Festival’s official launch event and hubs, Morris is actively investing in the future of the region. They’re helping create platforms for connection, celebration, and collaboration – spaces where small businesses are inspired to grow, and where innovation is sparked by shared stories and experiences.<\/p>\n

Applications for the $25,000 Morris Business Grant are now open and close on Sunday, August 17. Eligible SMEs in the Greater Geelong region are encouraged to apply and share how $25,000 could help bring their vision to life.<\/p>\n
