ONE of Geelong\u2019s most fashionable fundraisers has again delivered a huge boost to cancer services within the region.<\/p>\n
Barwon Health Foundation\u2019s Catwalk4Cancer event was attended by more than 250 people, bringing style, strength and heart to the runway.<\/p>\n
The unforgettable night of fashion and fundraising showed just how powerful community can be when they unite for a common cause.<\/p>\n

Among the standout moments of the night was a moving personal story shared by passionate cancer awareness advocate Joanna McRae.<\/p>\n
The Geelong local is familiar face to many, having thrown her support behind multiple Barwon Health Foundation initiatives including Dry July, Ceres Life Love Tees and past Catwalk4Cancer events.<\/p>\n
Her advocacy is driven by love and support for her sister Bek Bainbridge who is living with an incurable brain cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n
\u201cCatwalk4Cancer is all about community and giving back to the services that make such a difference in the lives of so many,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The catwalk featured a fabulous showcase from some of Geelong\u2019s most loved local and national fashion brands including HUSK Geelong West, Pearls and Roses, Westfield Geelong, Cercle Lifestyle, Lord\u2019s Design Menswear and Birdskin.<\/p>\n

The unique and beautiful collections were brought to life by a talented line-up of models from Fundamental Model who all generously donated their time.<\/p>\n
Guests were also treated to stunning performances from event MC Gorgi Coghlan and her performing partner Anna-Lee Robertson \u2013 the Songbirds.<\/p>\n

Ms Coghlan brought a deeply personal connection to the cause, with her brother Nigel receiving cancer care at the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.<\/p>\n
Barwon Health Foundation executive director Zoe Waters thanked all attendees for their generosity.<\/p>\n
