THE RACV Torquay Resort is again the toast of the town after claiming statewide honours for a third consecutive year.<\/p>\n

The local accommodation and hospitality provider took home the Best Meetings and Events Space of the Year \u2013 Regional title at the 2025 Victorian Accommodation Awards for Excellence.<\/p>\n

The “night of nights” for Victorian accommodation providers drew over 800 hoteliers, industry suppliers and tourism sector stakeholders.<\/p>\n

More than 300 venue and individual nominations were considered across the awards, which celebrated venue and service excellence across Victoria’s regulated commercial accommodation sector.<\/p>\n

RACV Torquay Resort manager Dean Newell said his team were absolutely thrilled to be recognised at this top level.<\/p>\n

RACV executive general manager of leisure Craig Peachey agreed.<\/p>\n

“To win Best Meetings and Events Space for the third year running at Torquay Resort is particularly special \u2013 it demonstrates our consistent commitment to providing world-class conference and events facilities for our guests,” he said.<\/p>\n

Geelong restaurant Tempo Kitchen and Bar also came away winners at the awards, triumphing in the Regional Hotel Restaurant of the Year category.<\/p>\n
