THE Winchelsea Community Bank Village swung its doors open for the first time this past week.<\/p>\n

More than two years in the making, the village, at 42 Harding Street, features 10 purpose-built two-bedroom homes.<\/p>\n

It started with a vision to assist long-term Winchelsea residents who are looking to downsize but remain in the community.<\/p>\n

Each of the spacious units have a 9-star energy rating, are flooded with natural light and surrounded by both private and shared gardens.<\/p>\n

Perfectly positioned just two minutes from the Barwon River, the village is also a short stroll to the nearby shopping centre, medical and sporting facilities and local cafes.<\/p>\n
