Geelong will delve deep into the world of imperfection with the kings of Australian podcasting, The Imperfects.<\/p>\n

Audiences can expect an evening of laughs, candid conversations and connection when the podcasting stars, who have won a loyal fanbase, make their return to Costa Hall on October 24.<\/p>\n

The hit podcast is hosted by Hugh van Cuylenburg \u2014 founder of The Resilience Project, which teaches mental health strategies to build resilience and happiness \u2014 alongside his brother Josh and friend and comedian Ryan Shelton.<\/p>\n

Together, the trio interview a wide range of guests who openly share their struggles and imperfections or offer valuable insights into the art of embracing them.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively with this masthead, Ryan and Josh shared their excitement for next week’s show.<\/p>\n

“This is a brand-new show and it’s really exciting because Geelong people will be the first to see it,” Ryan said.<\/p>\n

Josh said it was quickly becoming tradition for the trio to start their national tours in Geelong.<\/p>\n

“We did it with our last tour, and people at Costa Hall are amazing; they are the nicest staff in the whole country.<\/p>\n

“The whole show is about connection. It’s the cornerstone of what we do and is the ultimate goal that we believe is the key to life and what makes us truly happy.”<\/p>\n

The show will feature a range of segments, including the popular Vulnerabilitea House with special guest theatre actor Christie Whelan Browne, and The Academy of Imperfection.<\/p>\n

“There’ll be singing, choreography and dancing, and it’s a bit more of a variety show than a podcast,” Josh said.<\/p>\n

“We hope people can feel and learn some things along the way.”<\/p>\n

Long-time fans of the region, the pair are looking forward to indulging in Geelong’s restaurants while in town, and Josh is hoping to fit in some “saltwater therapy”.<\/p>\n

“Every time I’ve been it’s been G-Short and not Gee-Long \u2014 I want to spend more time there,” Ryan said.<\/p>\n

The show will be 90 minutes, with no intervals.<\/p>\n
