A 12-year-old girl has been treated for smoke inhalation, after a fire at the Geelong Show today.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the Geelong Showgrounds at about 1.23pm after reports a gas bottle had ignited inside a steel shed hosted by the Lions Club.<\/p>\n

Fire Rescue Victoria and CFA crews arrived within five minutes and, within 10 minutes, had the blaze under control.<\/p>\n

Multiple people were inside the shed at the time.<\/p>\n

Ambulance Victoria paramedics treated the young girl at the scene before transporting her to University Hospital Geelong in a stable condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
