GEELONG Venom has signed a new partnership aimed at celebrating women’s sport and community impact.<\/p>\n
The Women’s National Basketball League side has teamed up with ASX-listed Australasian real estate funds manager Centuria Captial Group to make a meaningful impact in the Geelong community.<\/p>\n
As part of the partnership, Centuria will support the introduction of the Geelong Venom WNBL Community Impact Award.<\/p>\n
The award will reflect a shared commitment to fostering positive role models, empowering women in sport and strengthening connection between club and community.<\/p>\n
Geelong United general manager of partnerships and marketing Connie Regan said it was incredibly exciting to have Centuria’s support.<\/p>\n
“This partnership allows us to recognise players who demonstrate outstanding leadership and community engagement, while also supporting the growth of women’s sport in our region. It’s about inspiring the next generation, both on and off the court,” she said.<\/p>\n
Centuria general manager of Victoria Mark Jones said the organisation was porud to partner with the Geelong Venom.<\/p>\n
“We know the power sport has to bring people together, and we’re excited to support initiatives like the WNBL Community Impact Award, which make a tangible difference locally,” he said.<\/p>\n
